Luke 15:11-32

Again in Luke 15 you find three parables-Lost sheep, Lost Coin, Lost son. In the first two, the seeker actively looked for the coin and the sheep, who could not return by themselves. In the Lost Son, the father watched and waited. He was dealing with a human being with a will of his own, but he was ready should his son return. God’s love is constant and waiting. He will search for us and give us opportunities to respond, but he does not force us to come to him. Like the father, he waits patiently for us to come to our senses.
