Family Promise
Event: Host Week July 12-18
There is something special about opening our doors to families who simply need a place to rest, share a meal and be surrounded by people who care.
During Family Promise Host Week, volunteers help create a welcoming space through everyday acts of hospitality. Some prepare meals, others spend time playing with children, welcome families at dinner, stay overnight, help with laundry or lend a hand setting up and packing away at the beginning and end of the week.
You don’t need any special experience to serve. If you can offer a smile, share a conversation, prepare a meal or simply be present, there is a place for you. Whether this is your first time serving or you’ve been part of Family Promise for years, we invite you to join us as we share the love of Jesus in simple, practical ways.
You may discover that what feels like a small act of kindness becomes a lasting reminder to a family that they are seen, valued and not alone.

- Kitchen helpers
- Meal hosts
- Children’s activities
- Overnight hosts
- Laundry
- Setup and teardown
