Summer Lunch Program
Published On: July 9, 2025
Summer is here, and with it comes an incredible opportunity to share joy, love, and support with children in our community through The Faith Alliance Summer Lunch Program! For over a decade, this program has been a beacon of hope for children who rely on free or reduced lunches during the school year and might otherwise go without a meal in the summer. Last year alone, we served countless children from economically disadvantaged families right here in the Lakota School District.
Be Part of Something Bigger This Summer
The Faith Alliance Summer Lunch Program will take place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through July 30. This program not only provides a healthy meal but also fun activities and a friendly face to welcome each child. Community partners such as Metroparks, local fire departments, magicians, and potters will join us throughout the summer, creating special memories for these kids.
How You Can Help
Sign up to volunteer on any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday through July 31 and be that friendly face that makes a difference in a child’s day.
