This temptation by Satan shows us that Jesus was human, and it provided the opportunity for Jesus to reaffirm God’s plan for his ministry. It also gives us an example to follow when we are tempter. Jesus’ temptation was important because it demonstrated his sinlessness. He would face temptation and not give in.
