Missions & Partnerships

For over 50 years, Crestview has partnered with Sunset Gap, a mission in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee originally founded by Presbyterian women to support local families through education and essential resources. Today, the center continues its work with help from churches like ours. Crestview supports Sunset Gap through financial gifts, mission trips, and our cherished annual tradition of providing Christmas gifts for children in need—a partnership rooted in faith, compassion, and service.

The Metanoia Center, a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2018, focuses on transforming people and places through holistic, development-based solutions. Crestview became a founding partner in 2022 and primarily supports the ministry through financial gifts, Tuesday afternoon tutoring for Lockland students (grades 1–3), and occasional maintenance and hospitality help. At the heart of Metanoia’s mission are Biblically-centered literacy programs and community outreach opportunities that promote long-term growth. Services are offered to all, regardless of race, gender, background, or income. https://www.metanoiacenter.net/aboutus.php

Ratio Christi (Latin for the “Reason of Christ”) is an apologetics & evangelism organization, started in 2007, that equips students with the tools and skills to defend their Christian faith and share it with others. We have started over 120 ministry chapters at schools, colleges, and universities throughout the U.S. and internationally. https://ratiochristi.org/

CPC’s HUGs Ministry extends love, encouragement, and the joy of Christ to members of our church family who are unable to attend in person. Through thoughtful visits and care packages, we remind them they are deeply valued and always in our prayers. Matthew 25: Ministries recycles building materials, clothing, and supplies to support disaster relief worldwide. Crestview volunteers meet the 3rd Thursday of each month to help prepare shipments that have aided over 20 million people in need. Crestview also collects used pill bottles year-round at the Mission Desk outside the Main Sanctuary for Matthew 25: Ministries. The Souper Bowl of Caring is a meaningful outreach event where children collect canned goods to support Mason’s Comet Cupboard. This program helps address food insecurity by providing children within the school system with nutritious food to take home and share with their families. It’s a way our church community comes together to care for local families in need.

Crestview supports the Reach Out Lakota Holiday Gift Program by donating new gifts for local children in need. This program aims to brighten the holiday season for hundreds of children by providing toys, games, gift cards, and financial support. Contributions help ensure that every child in the community can experience the joy and hope of the holiday season.

Crestview partners with The Faith Alliance—a network of local churches and community organizations united to serve neighbors in need. Together, we work to alleviate poverty and share Christ’s love through collaborative, hands-on service. https://thefaithalliance.com/

Three to four times a year, Crestview transforms our Education Wing into a comfortable atmosphere for families in the Family Promise of Butler County program, providing lodging to children and families who are homeless. They stay a full week, arriving each evening in time for supper, activities and hospitality provided by volunteers. Each family has their own room. Before leaving Crestview each morning for work, school or the Family Promise Day Center, breakfast is provided. Many volunteers are needed to ensure our guests feel welcome! https://familypromisebutlercountyoh.org

As part of The Faith Alliance, Crestview joins with local churches each year to collect food donations for the Feed Our Neighbors in Need drive. Over a two-week period, we gather groceries to help restock area food pantries in Butler, Warren, and Hamilton Counties—contributing to the more than 215,000 pounds donated since the program began in 2013.

Crestview partners with Faith Community UMC through the Faith Alliance to support a weekly outreach that offers free meals, life skills classes, fellowship, and worship for local families. Crestview helps by providing and serving meals on select Tuesdays throughout the year.

Through the generous efforts of Faith Alliance church partners, up to 90% of the school supplies needed by Reach Out Lakota are provided each year—equipping hundreds of local students for a strong start to the school year. Crestview is proud to take part in this meaningful outreach through supply and donation collections.

Provides an opportunity to share joy, love, and support with local children during the summer months. For over a decade, the program served as a beacon of hope for those who typically relied on free or reduced lunches during the school year. Each summer, children from economically disadvantaged families in the Lakota School District received nutritious meals through this community-wide effort.

This mission provides year-round literacy support to elementary students from low-income Lakota families through both after-school tutoring during the academic year and a focused summer program. With the help of caring volunteers, dedicated educators, and generous donors, students receive free, consistent support to build critical reading skills, prevent summer learning loss, and foster a love of reading.
