For over a decade, Crestview has been joining with other Faith Alliance churches to feed, teach and play with hungry children over the summer. Lakota joined about 5 years ago and now provides lunch for only the children at several sites. The churches continue to partner and provide supplemental lunches and/or groceries for these struggling families, as well as fun and educational activities for the kids. DURING COVID, THE NEED IS GREATER THAN EVER…..Crestview will continue helping with Summer Lunch at Princeton Village Mobile Homes Community(Princeton-Glendale Rd), IF we can find a new coordinator for one day per week (Mondays). Some Spanish is helpful but not mandatory, just a heart to show God’s love to these children and their families. Our coordinator will be mentored and collaborate with a long-time Lead Coordinator who covers the other days’ activities.
Kick-Off Meeting for Faith Alliance Summer Lunch Coordinators and Volunteers is March 25th. College students or anyone who feels the call is urged to contact Sue Mahlock soon at 513-309-4526 for more details.
